Cline Village offers two phases in the North Carolina's 4th largest SMSA.

Phase I

Sets the stage with an aesthetic entrance fitting to the community, a village green, a City of Conover firehouse, an elementary school, apartments for seniors, and areas for commercial development as well as 35 homesites.  Along with 22 existing homes, all critical infrastructure is in place for 13 ready-to-build lots.  Two commercial sites totaling 6.5 acres flank the entrance and the village green.

Phase II

With a preliminary design for 172+/- residential lots on 87 acres, Phase II is planned with an approved master plan and has city water and sewer to the site.

Just off Interstate 40 at NC Highway 16, the location provides easy access to Charlotte, Winston-Salem and Asheville.

In addition to those employed in the Hickory Metro, the area is attracting a growing number of retirees fleeing the high prices of the mountains and the coast, but seeking a temperate climate and relaxed environment close to shopping, entertainment and healthcare.  Rock Barn Country Club, host to the PGA Champions Tour Hickory Golf Classic, is just a mile away.

I-40 to Exit 132 to Highway 16 North. Go 1.5 miles, turn left onto CB Farm Rd. Go 1 mile, turn left at Village Square NW into Cline Village.

meeting the criteria for TND Design Rating Standards

The acronym TND stands for Traditional Neighborhood Development, a comprehensive planning system that includes a variety of housing types and land uses in a defined area. The variety of uses permits educational facilities, civic buildings and commercial establishments to be located within walking distance of private homes. A TND is served by a network of paths, streets and lanes suitable for pedestrians as well as vehicles. This provides residents the option of walking, biking or driving to places within their neighborhood. Present and future modes of transit are also considered during the planning stages.

Public and private spaces have equal importance, creating a balanced community that serves a wide range of home and business owners. The inclusion of civic buildings and civic space -- in the form of plazas, greens, parks and squares -- enhances community identity and value. --
