The
rolling heartland where Cline Village stands was, at
one time,
a cattle farm rich in natural
resources,
including an abundance of quartz crystals and a wagon
trail which still runs through the property.
For many generations, the Cline family has grown and sold
blueberries, strawberries, and pumpkins from their farmlands.
The
Cline Blueberry was named and registered by UNC, marked
for its special flavor
and taste. The Strawberry
Festival is very popular in the spring, drawing families
throughout the region to the "pick your own" events.
Life in Cline Village is like a step back in time...where folks gather on their front porches to chat, walk and talk with neighbors, and share their love of family and friends.
